SFD is a beautiful game with tactical combat similar to Final Fantasy Tactics or Tactics Ogre, but with rogue-like elements. The developer is quick to respond to issues as well which is nice to see. If you’re looking for something new, fun, and cheap, then this is a good choice. Its hard to get all of the nuances and rules. There is no cohesive write up of the mechanics of the game and some of the terminology is a bit opaque.
