never played any serious sam games before, no flat versions, so going into this fresh, it started off really slow, big open levels with not much going on, seems to be picking up now i’ve gave it some more time. keep it running at 90 fps and moving around with free locomotion isn’t bad at all, or at least it isn’t for me now i’m used to it, graphics are ok for VR, runs pretty damn good on 1070, love the screaming guys coming at you when the wave opens up and sends everything at you in a boss battle. wish I could disable the movement based hand controls, I use sticks to move and rotate but have to keep my hands up and straight, resting my hands down by my side while still moving strafes the movement with my hands which is a little annoying. It’s an old game ported, if you go into it knowing that you wont be disjointed, vr controls are great, world scale is great, one of those games where you’ll always be moving shooting so makes a change from the normal stand still wave shooters.
