Game Overview

Despite being early access, this is one of a handful of games that has managed to actually do procedural generation right. The devs seem to have added enough level pieces that repeats aren’t too noticeable and each different area has some different mechanics and level structure, so they never feel like a recolor of a previous area. The only pieces that do get a bit stale are the challenge rooms that appear in each level since there only seem to be 2 or 3 of these per area, adding a couple more of each would probably suffice.

The weaponry is procedural generated in the same style as the Borderlands series, but there is a large enough arsenal of melee weapons, firearms, and magic weapons that it doesn’t suffer from the sameness that Borderlands weapons often would. Combat feels extremely satisfying and is on-par with Dusk and Blood. The Grapple-Saw is the best thing ever. Get Destiny or Fate PC Game.
