Game Overview
Tons of trucks and Monster Jam tracks, but could use more of the way-point and circuit tracks. Also the head to head races are very lame. I get that most real MJ events are the circle tracks, but I grew up with and go to(locally) Monster Jam drag car crush races, so that would be nice to see. Some of the truck mechanics are also super wonky and you can get into these endless flips and weird spin-outs. Realistic damage and driving modes should be options. Music is bad but as expected for an extreme motor sports game. Would really like to see a create a driver and or truck mode.
Every other area is lacking in some way. The physics are not bad for something that a kid may enjoy and master, but sim enthusiasts will definitely frown upon the ridiculous stunts and flips the player can pull out. There’s no tire deformation and suspension travel is minimal. The graphics are nice but nothing extraordinary. The music is generic and forgettable. The opening cutscenes and victory animations are bland and even boring. Overall, there’s a lack of “soul” that prevents the player to feel excited or rewarded. Get Destiny or Fate PC Game.
