The nation is quite unique to the rest of the nation. Its a early game nation like Prussia and Algeria, but with more firepower. The buildings looks great and the units have good and detailed models. This nation also houses a new military building which is the castle. Here you can produce units like the highlander which is a longs words man with a kilt, and a archer. HOWEVER… Scotland is a welcome addition to the game, alot of the little tweaks and new features are worth the cost, but MOST IMPORTANTLY, the introduction of the adviser system, although something new and which I expected to fall flat, is actually way better than I could have ever have imagined. The fact that I have to worry just *that* much less about my economy makes the classic RTS experience feel alive and fun again for me. Much less micro-management with the villagers and economy overall leads to a much less stressful time. Something that defiantly needs to be further worked on and added in other games of this genre honestly.
