Black Ops 1 starts the story of Alex Mason, a CIA operative who was brainwashed and is now trying to get revenge and most importantly, regain grip of his sanity. The campaign is full of epic moments and plot twists you only get in a franchise the caliber of Call of Duty, and is just overall a great run. To further enhance your experience, I recommend playing on the hardened or veteran difficulty. This just makes the campaign a million times better. Why? Because it turns Call of Duty from an arcade “run and gun” shooter where you are some kind of super soldier into a game where you actually have to use tactics to survive.
